Renewable Exchange is a UK-based PPA trading platform built to simplify clean power sales. With real-time pricing insights, open access to offtakers, and contract tools, it empowers generators of any size to monetise their energy.

Starting point

Renewable Exchange wanted a website and marketing collateral that reflected their approachable, people-first ethos while still conveying credibility in the energy trading space.

Renewable Exchange had worked with designers before, but the structure and visual direction weren’t fully aligned. Rather than adjusting what was already there, we stepped back and returned to the foundation - clarifying what wasn’t working, what needed to change, and how the brand should present itself moving forward.

Reseting the foundation

We began by stepping back and redefining the website structure - clarifying page hierarchy, user flow, and content priorities.

Defining the visual tone

We guided the overall look and feel of the website, ensuring the design struck the right balance between a friendly, human tone and professional credibility.

Simplifying complexity through iconography

We developed a clear, custom icon system to simplify complex information and make the platform more accessible to users.

Building consistency across touchpoints

With the website direction established, we extended the system into marketing collateral: sales decks, brochures, business cards, and trade show materials.

What changed

The brand moved from disconnected visuals to a cohesive, structured presence. Complex ideas are now communicated clearly, the design feels credible without losing approachability, and the team has a consistent system they can build on as the company grows.
